we don’t have to wait quite so long again until the next time we see Rachel Harrington in Sheffield. Our patience was certainly rewarded with a beautiful show on Friday night at The Greystones, helped in no small part by a fine opening set from Paul McClure. Thanks to all who came along.

Paul McClure makes a relatively swift return to Sheffield when he joins us at Shakespeares on Thursday October 12th for a band set along with Clubhouse Record label mates Case Hardin. A Prayer Away also open this show. Tickets are on sale here.

Next for WagonWheel Presents… though we’re back at The Greystones on Wednesday August 30th when the circus comes to town, Curtis Eller’s American Circus. Full details can be found here. Tickets for this one are selling very well, so be sure to grab yours to guarantee your place under the Big Top.

as the great Lonesome Bob once sang, and while last night wasn’t what we originally had planned at The Greystones, we found ourselves in the company of Ash Gray, Blind River Scare, John Batchelor and Adrian Bates instead for what still proved to be a great night. Thanks to them and those who made it along.

We’re back at The Greystones in August with Rachel Harrington plus Paul McClure (Friday 11th) and Curtis Eller’s American Circus (Wednesday 30th). Tickets for those are on sale here or from the venue.

Before then though for WagonWheel Presents… it’s our Tramlines show on Sunday July 23rd at Shakespeares. Details of who is joining us this year can be found here. Two stages, free entry, our show starts at 2pm, see you there?

easily confused, but i don’t think there is any mistaking how good an evening we enjoyed in the company of Otis Gibbs last night, and indeed Boss Caine who got the night off to a fine start. Thanks to them and everybody who came along to a busy night at The Greystones too.

Wednesday June 28th is when WagonWheel Presents… returns to The Backroom for our next show. Joining us then will be Amelia Curran and Paul McClure. Maybe you will too? Full details can be found here.

are worth waiting for, and that certainly proved to be the case with The Clench‘s return to live action at The Greystones last night. Not forgetting another two fine sets from Bob Collum & The Welfare Mothers and Andy P. Davison (or as he could well now be known, one half of The Andys along with Mr Dye!) who’d got the night under way. Certainly wasn’t a bad way to begin our run of three shows this month…

which leads us to Friday June 16th when WagonWheel Presents… returns to The Backroom for the visit of Otis Gibbs. Boss Caine will be opening this show, and you don’t want to miss it. Full details can be found here.

saw Whitney Rose and her band make their Sheffield debut on their first UK tour, whilst A Prayer Away played their very first show. The one thing that wasn’t new at The Greystones yesterday was a fine evening of music from two great bands. Thanks to everybody that was there to enjoy it with us.

WagonWheel Presents… will be doing it all again on Saturday June 3rd in the company of The Clench, Bob Collum & The Welfare Mothers and Andy P. Davison. Full details for this show can be found here. Good times guaranteed, we hope you can join us again.
